About Ms. Möller
Sabine Möller is a life-long Catholic and a founding parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Sterling, Virginia. She grew up in Germany, learned English at a young age and eventually moved to the United States. Ms. Möller attended Franciscan University of Steubenville where she obtained degrees in Theology/Mental Health & Human Services, as well as minors in Education, Human Life Studies, and Sacred Music. Ms. Möller has a Virginia Catholic Education Association License and a Master Catechist Certificate.
Teaching comes naturally for Ms. Möller. She has taught elementary, middle and high school students all in a Catholic school environment. She has done most of her teaching in Virginia, but also spent time teaching in a college prep school in Managua, Nicaragua, where conditions led her to adopt an inventive teaching style.
Ms. Möller has spent time tutoring and teaching CCD and has also spent time in administration of a small independent Catholic school. She has spoken publicly on the issues of chastity and pro-life issues, and ministered in crisis pregnancy centers. Ms. Möller has used her degrees in various ways: youth minister (Maryland), retreat leader (Germany), missionary (pro-life, Exodus Youth Services – for the poor in DC), and counselor (Johns Hopkins Camp Sunrise & SunSibs – pediatric oncology patients and their siblings).
Ms. Möller is a cantor and choir member at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She enjoys German candle making, an intricate craft into which she incorporates her Faith. Ms. Möller has also been involved with the world of drama, where she has assumed all roles, from onstage to producer to director. She loves to travel, especially on pilgrimages to holy sites around the world and to visit her family in Germany. She lives with her best friend, along with two dogs and two cats.
Ms. Möller enjoys sharing her joyful love of the Faith and of life with the students at Good Shepherd School.
