A Note about Keeping Costs Low as We Grow

Many excellent schools offer financial aid.  But few offer financial aid and low tuition.  We would like to share how we provide both—and how we plan to continue to provide both as we grow.

  • We ask current families to include Good Shepherd School in their charitable giving. This includes families who receive financial aid!  We are a community of people who are committed to helping young people grow in faith, wisdom, and virtue.  Gifts of any amount—from $25 to more significant investments—provide real and tangible help to our community and strengthens our communal bond.  As Saint Teresa of Calcutta said, “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”

  • We ask the broader community to support Good Shepherd School’s Student Fund, which provides immediate or endowed support for students who could not otherwise afford to benefit from our educational program.  Families and businesses in our community can sponsor a student with an immediate gift of $5,000 or an endowed gift of $10,000. Sponsors receive a personal note of gratitude from the students they help—a gesture that is deeply meaningful to sponsors and students alike.

  • We ask current families and the broader community to support Good Shepherd School’s growth.  Over the next few years, we plan to create a high school and build a permanent campus in Western Loudoun County.  We need to identify land—to be given as a gift or to purchase.  We are open to renovating an existing space or creating a new building to serve as our education center.  We seek to establish important partnerships with landowners and investors in order to accomplish our vision for the school and broader community.

We are deeply grateful to the generous families and members of the broader community who support Good Shepherd School.  Please contact Kimberly Begg at for more information about how to provide greater help to our students as we grow.
